San Francisco Real Estate Historical Market Appreciation

Have you ever wondered what appreciation rates have been for various property types in San Francisco?  Appreciation rates from 1997-2021 were similar for all property types.  Since the bottom of the market after the last recession, single family residences (SFRs) have outpaced other property types.  The SFR appreciation has been more marked since COVID, probably due to buyers wating more space as they have spent more time working from home.
